Amy Carr
Principal
Amy Carr is a lawyer with over 12 years experience in both private practice and in-house counsel (Asia-Pacific) for a major global US based engineering, environmental and technology consultancy. Amy’s expertise includes commercial law support for companies in strategy, joint ventures, contracts, intellectual property, employment, workplace health & safety, environmental law, dispute resolution and consumer law.
Amy’s clients range from start-ups, online and tech companies, advertising and media clients, health sector startups and companies, retailers and distributors, gym franchises, creative industrial and graphic designers, engineering, construction and environment consultants.
Amy recently stepped down as Director of industry organisation, Consult Australia and was a Finalist in the 2012 AFR Boss Emerging Leaders Competition.
Amy works closely with small to medium enterprise in various sectors and has a particular interest in supporting startups. Amy also supports not-for-profit, Indigenous owned and operated art-centers in central and the western deserts of Australia.

Megan Dyball
Principal
Megan has over 25 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law including commercialisation of intellectual property, corporate structuring including for intellectual property protection, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, information technology and general corporate and commercial law.
Expertise includes drafting and negotiating intellectual property licences and commercialisation agreements in particular in the technology sector.
Key focus areas include angel and private equity investment into start-ups and early stage companies including subscription agreements, shareholders agreements and employee share plans.
Megan is an associate of the Rights House angel investment group in Newcastle and is a member of Head over Heels providing support to businesses owned by women. Megan is also on the Executive Committee of the Women Lawyers
Association of NSW.
Prior to joining Inside Eagles, Megan was a Legal Director at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and an Executive Lawyer (partner equivalent) at Bartier Perry Solicitors. Megan has also worked in-house at Bankers Trust and Macquarie Bank.

Sarah Carstens
Senior Legal Counsel
Sarah has over 13 years of legal experience in both in-house and in private practice roles. Her expertise includes handling and leading the day-to-day commercial legal issues (including handling and negotiating major agreements, disputes and general advisory issues), managing company risk, advising boards of directors, implementing initiatives to improve governance, legal risk management, regulatory compliance and managing regulatory relationships.
She has a post graduate diploma in governance and risk management and is a chartered company secretary with Governance Institute, Australia.
As part of her previous roles, Sarah oversaw the implementation of significant regulatory reform projects including anti-money laundering, insurance and financial licencing regimes (New Zealand) and the establishment and management of an enterprise risk management programme.
Sarah is admitted to practice as a lawyer in NSW and in New Zealand. Prior to joining Inside Eagles, Sarah was the General Counsel and Company Secretary for Fisher & Paykel Finance, and before that a senior corporate lawyer at ANZ Bank. She has also worked in the finance teams for several large law firms including Linklaters (London) and Minter Ellison (New Zealand).

Elliot Ford
Lawyer
Elliot is a lawyer working in areas of commercial law, disputes, intellectual property & trademarks and corporate law. Elliot works with and supports our clients from start-ups, online and tech companies, advertising and media clients, health sector startups and companies, engineering, construction and environmental consultants.
Elliot studied a combined Bachelor degree in Communications and Law at the University of Notre Dame.
